White


Skulls are "white," but only if long bleached in the desert sun. Two iterations of a gull skull for the Thursday Photo Challenge White. The first one is a "high key" photo and the second a smudge brush painting. Click individual images to see larger.

Both are changed from the original in different ways, the first one being made lighter and whiter, though still not white, and the second painted stroke by stroke with a smudge brush--slow work.
