(for a birthday card--a raven wouldn't do), so I transformed the raven
into a bluebird by shortening its beak and tail and coloring it blue
and orange. I was happy with the results though I may not be done
with either of them yet.

Looking at it now, I can see it clearly needs more work. (But it was late, I was tired, and it looked OK at the moment.)
