The Frog Meister (Sissy)

The Frog Meister (Sissy), by Mary Stebbins Taitt. I decided that since one of the reasons I started studying art was to illustrate my books, I would keep attempting to make book illos until I got it right. This is Sissy, the protagonist in Frog Haven (one of my Y.A. novels).

my goodness, you are prolific, woman! that is a wonderful thing, but if i turn my back, i'm in trouble! just kidding, i so enjoy all your art, each piece unique in its own right.

i'd love to see your frog meister book (cute name!) this caught my attention particularly because i've just gotten involved (peripherally) in a children's project called "frogtown" by a local writer/film producer and his songster wife. it's multimedia, and as i used to work in k-12 ed for public broadcasting, i'm doing some consulting on distribution with them. here's the website, thought you might enjoy it!

I checked out the web site and it looks like fun.

If you are genuinely interested in reading my novel, I will send it to you. Leave your email address, I will delete it if you wish. If so, leave it in its own comment, separate from any comment--leave the comment first and then the email and I will delete the email but not the comment--unless you want it all deleted.

The novel has made some rounds and is nearly ready to go out again.
