Climb

Climb, by Mary Stebbins Taitt. Sissy and Garryd, two characters in my children's novels, climb the Easy Beezy. This is the 4th "from scratch" painting (drawing?) I did on my new Cintiq tablet that I got for Christmas. I still haven't gotten the hang of it. For Illustration Friday theme, climb. (This is a brand new drawing that I just did today.) (I don't know if it's a drawing or a painting.--I read somewhere how to tell the difference, but I forget.)

adorable, and I love the perspective you drew it from

It looks to me as if you have the hang of it! I love the soaring feeling of height you've created and the pattern of the branches against all that green.

Thanks so much Amy and Carla for your visits and very kind comments.

Nice illustration. The angle of the tree really make them look very high up.

THANKS! I was trying to make them very high up, also by making them small relative to the size of the tree.

I love this. It so captures the spirit and feeling of being little and climbing high in a tree.
