Hands Reaching for God
Hands Reaching for God, by Mary Stebbins Taitt. Sculpture in an Italian Church. In Europe, there were lovely churches and religious sculptures in every small town.

I loved the churches in Europe and loved that you could walk into most of them and photograph.
When I lived in San Francisco in the 60s, I used to sleep in Catholic churches because they were left open all night. Where I live now, most churches are kept locked. too sad.
