So provocative and empathic! And you are so very right! How many times did we live from paycheck to paycheck and the loss of one of those would have meant disaster!

But why the hell can't a country which spends $1 trillion on illegal and unprovoked wars take care of its poor and needy and sick?

And now the scum in Congress who are wholly owned by the corporations are trying to gut Medicare and Social Security because of the so-called "deficit."

There would be no deficit if they'd tax the wealthy and stop perpetual war.
