aaaaarooooooooooouuuuuuuuu!

I like the pups a lot. I also like the thumbnail composition. You don't even need the rest to communicate the idea.

great job

Wow, really cute!!!! I love the colors too, and the rendering is great!!!!
Do you feel your art is improving with the use of the computer tools? Or
improving due to more time drawing? Very nice!

Maybe a little of each, but unfortunately,. I am not really a very good artists--I can't just sit down and draw something, I can't make likenesses (especially of people). I am very slow--it takes me days of work to produce a piece--sometimes weeks, or months-- and then mostly everyone is like, ho hum. (All that work for what, basically).

But I brought someone one for a gift and someone else saw it and went nuts over it, so maybe this is a good thing.

I mostly do them in the car while Biker Buddy is driving us somewhere, and so they are sort of coarse, sometimes--that is, the line quality stinks because of the bumps in the road. (That's sort of an excuse because my line quality stinks anyway--I know--I've seen YOUR lines!) but the car makes it even worse.

One thing about working on the computer is that I can fix mistakes--sometimes.

And I like using layers.

Well, with all that... it's a very dramatic piece. Quite attractive.

hey dont sweat it i cant draw likeness either but that doesnt mean u cant draw. everyone has there strenghts and weakness in drawing. the ones u think are good play to there strengths. and then there are the exceptions that can just down right draw it all.
nice symerty in this and like the work on there fur

Wow Mary! Do you really think you're not a very good artist?! I think your art is very good at conveying a feeling [and that's what it's about, isn't it?], like this one with the highlights of the moon in their coats and their soulful howl. I agree with MD. Maybe your line work could be your signature style. ;]

Thanks for visiting and commenting, Blue Rose!

What I meant, I guess I didn't express well, is that I cannot reliably start with a blank piece of paper and simply draw a good picture. I have friends who can do that, but I cannot.
