Here is one of the masks I made for Illustration Friday's mask topic. I never got to post it for Mask, so I am posting it for HELP. ("Help, I am totally overwhlemed by Christmas!" "Help, I've fallen [behind] and I can't {keep} up!")I did this in the car driving back from Gail's and in the car driving back and forth to Neil and Laura's. Riding in the car has been the only time I have to play at art.
Yesterday we came extremely close to being in an accident. Someone drove in front of us and with a great squealing of brakes and removal of rubber from my tires, I'm sure, Keith, who was driving, managed to avoid hitting the people who drove in front of us. At least we were all alive. Besides being scared, I also was so upset I deleted all the work I was doing on my latest art piece and lost it.
So this help mask is saying, "Help, I've lost my art friend."

If I were over there, I would certainly have the time to help you. I'm going to celebrate Christmas by myself or in a religious community (as we say) this year.
My problem is that I always try to do too much and worse yet, I make too many proises and then I am afriad I won't get it all done. I'm in panic mode now.
None of it is so crucial though. It would be really better to sit and pray and meditate.
I hope you have a peaceful and Happy Christmas. We will be celebrating multiple times with different portions of our large and spread out family.
I'm glad all you had was a close call! And...I am amazed that you can sit in the car and do digital art! The mask is pretty, even if it is crying for help. I like the flowers:> Haved a happy holiday, and don't run yourself ragged!
I have a new Toshiba Tablet and very little timne to do art, so I try to do it in the car while traveling. It's not comfortable or easy, but it is better than not doing it at all. LOL!
I'm OK, I just scheduled myself too full of holiday stuff to keep up. (I have ADHD, which doesn't help, LOL!)
