Dahlia in Rain

Dahlia in Rain, by Mary Stebbins Taitt. Hard to take pictures in the
rain--and it was raining fairly hard.

Is this a current picture? The dahlias are flowering already? This is a gorgeous shot.

Well, I took it today.

But I took it at the Village Market where Dahlias are out along the wall for people to buy.

However, once they buy and plant them, they will be flowering in their gardens--dunno if any came UP and flowered yet.

I know what you mean about it being hard to take pictures in the rain. The last time I had to take my camera in for repair was because the humidity messed up the electronics somehow, but the guy at the repair shop said that was common here in Houston. I really worry about it now.

Great shot!

A big splotch of rain fell on the camera as I was taking one of these. :-(

On the other hand, I once dropped a camera into a filthy puddle and after it dried, it worked fine.

On the third hand, I once tipped a canoe and dumped a camera into the lake and it cost $250 to fix it.
