This makes me think of the Cingular commercials, although that probably means nothing to you, Ma.

No I have NO idea about the Cingular commercials, none at all. Should I look them up or soemthing somehow?

I don't even know if I can adequately explain it, although it's far from important. Something about having more bars (of reception) anywhere you go (with your cell phone). The TV commercials are on all the time with people just doing normal things and in the background are random bits that make bars just like in your picture. :)
