Kensington Bay, my first two shot digital Orton

Kensington Bay, by Mary Stebbins Taitt. This is my first two-shot digital Orton. The earlier ones were sadwiches from a single shot with a duplicate blurred layer. I haven't decided if I like this or not. I sort of do and sort of don't. Posted by Picasa

Oriole Wood Carving

Oriole Wood Carving, by Mary Stebbins Taitt. This oriole carving I photographed at the Ella Sharp Museum in Jackson, MI. I removed the museum background and replaced it with a fall foliage background and then ran a gausian blur on the foliage. I then ran a caricature action created by Lee Core which I got free from ActionCentral. It was easy to install and run. I apologize to the carving artist because I did not get his name, if anyone knows it, I'll include it. (click image to view larger) Posted by Picasa

Eagle Carving, from Ella Sharp Museum in Jackson, MI. I took away the museum background and added sky. Unfortunately, I did not get the name of the artist. Posted by Picasa
