The Storm (From the temptation of Eve Series), by Mary Stebbins Taitt. Another Mole Sketch. This one was created using gesso and gouache. The sketch was then made with ink and the highlights removed by painting with water and then some shading added with a little additional paint. The scans never seem to be quite right.

As it comes across in the posting, the color basically draws out a perception of this storm as an internal one extended to the subject's whole environment... a sense of being surrounded and pelted with one's own mind..
