Whoaa..bizarre! Very cool photo(s).
I'm going to be a bit different and say that the photo I (would) like best would be a "combination": the central image of the touched up version, but without the background. In other, hopefully clearer, words: a closeup of where the artichokes meet in the center of the plate, with the plate as a background. In other, even simpler, words: a crop.
Diarrhea of the keyboard here. Meh - it's Monday...what are you gonna do?
