Mary, I like the detailed picture so much better, although the larger image has a touch of that Magritte picture (that Jackson Browne ripped off for the Late for the Sky cover), with the lights on in the houses but the sky not yet dark.
The time-lapse has worked really well on both pictures, but your detailed selection for "E is for Evening" has real magic, in the colours, the distribution of light and the whole small village feel of the picture.
