2 new blogs: IMAGIK ART and IMAGIK PHOTOS

I know I have too many blogs already, but I now have two new ones, Imagik Art and IMagik Photos. AK!!! They are experimental blogs--I want to learn to make the displayed images bigger. You can view my piece, Hollow, revisited and updated, here. And you can also view a photo taken above the falls at Niagara here. If the new blogs work out, I may retire this one.

Celebrate!

We gathered to Celebrate my friend Donna's life after she died
unexpectedly from a stroke. Such a combination of joy and sadness--to
all be together without her.

Beer and Chips

Beer and Chips, by Mary Stebbins Taitt. Digital Smudge Painting.

Don't let anyone tell you Macks are better than PCs. I've been
robbed. AND I wasted tons of time trying to post this at a reasonable
size. And failed. This is my 5th attempt and I have other more
important thinsg to do. It's so small here you can hardly tell it's a painting and not a photo. :-(( You can make it a frog hair bigger by clicking on it, but not much.

the shower wall

Here is a sandwich of the daisy rain and the Lucifer Hummingbird painting.

Lucifer Hummingbird with Fuchsia

Lucifer Hummingbird with Fuchsia, by Mary Stebbins Taitt. I made this small "Chinese Brush Painting" for Soldier Boy, my step-son, for his birthday. It will be placed on a card and given to him today at our annual family holiday event at ML's. I gave him another brush painting last year. A sad thing happened to that painting, but luckily, I scanned it. The black symbols on the bottom right mean peace, if I rendered them correctly, and the red symbols in the box are my signature. Since I never developed a signature, today's symbol means "wolf," which is one of my alter egos ("Lupo Grigio").
