Unfinished Painting of Echinacea. This is a painting I just started tonight. It is a smudge painting on Photoshop. I learned a couple new techniques for smudge painting, too, for example, turning on and off a saturation layer while working can give you more color and texture. I took this photo with the aid of an assistant (Biker Buddy). Click image to view larger.

ReplyDeleteOn Photo Friday, they publish a theme each week and anyone can participate, you don't have to join or anything, you just paste in the link to your post if you post to the theme--and you can subscribe for free-they send you the theme of the week each Friday. Not everyone who participates is a great profession photographer--there are lots of snapshots. It's fun to look and see what people have entered for the theme.
