Remembering Mother (Flowers for Margaret)
Remembering Mother (Flowers for Margaret), By Mary Stebbins Taitt. For my mother Margaret, who recently died.

I like the two flowers outside of the "painting in the painting". They symbolize the "resurrection" of the dead, and the soul (I'm not sure this makes much sense)
